Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany hails PSG as one of the greatest teams on the European stage.
The Bavarians are set to host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Bayern on six points from four games.
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has described Paris Saint-Germain as “one of the biggest clubs in Europe” ahead of their UEFA Champions League meeting on Tuesday.
PSG are enduring a difficult Champions League campaign. With just one win, which came courtesy of a last-minute Paulo Gazzaniga howler in their opener against La Liga side Girona, they currently sit 25th in the revamped “League Phase” of the competition, which means that they are currently on course for a premature exit from the competition.
This leaves the German team needing 3 points to climb up the rankings. Similar to PSG, who have had a poor performance in this tournament. The media believes that both sides will make the game very entertaining.
“We are going to play against one of the biggest teams in Europe. They have world-class players and a coach (Luis Enrique),” the Belgian coach said of his big opponent ahead of Tuesday’s game.
“They are a very talented team. Both teams want to win, but we will be playing at home, so this game is very important.
“There are many teams in UFABET this competition that we haven’t seen yet. There’s a lot of talk about finishing in the top eight, but our target is to finish first.”
